Second, he has disgraced himself in the eyes of many by his sycophantic tail-wagging around the Bushies, even though they sandbagged him in 2000. And number two demolishes his image as a "warrior"--he's a suck-up. Finally, most Americans want the war ended and most Americans do not buy the neocon/Bushie rationale behind continuing it.
