Catching up!

It has been a week since my last post. Sometimes life intrudes. Work, relatives visiting, birthday parties (Alex is 5!) and trips to the emergency room (having two sons will require lots of those) can keep you from doing other things.

Oh well, I am back!

CBS Blogger Outreach

I have been getting e-mails of late from CBS in a political blogger outreach. Unfortunately, buy the time I read my e-mails, the story is already finished and past.

CBS is currently running behind other news sources, so maybe they view this as a way to widen their audience. I am obviously only a minor blogger, so I have no idea if other news organizations have been trying to contact other bloggers.

I am Back!

We are finally moved in, though still surrounded by boxes. And after one week, we have FINALLY gotten home Internet access.

My oldest son started kindergarten, my youngest son started music school (at 3 he has pretty much decided he wants to be either a musician or a tax driver), my new job is looking very interesting, and my wife has not stuck a knife in me!

Over all, things are going well!

On Hiatus

I have not been posting much, due to the fact that I have accepted a new job in a new city. Between finishing up my old job and pakcing up the family, I have not had time for the blog.

So while I may make a few posts, the blog will mostly be silent for a while.

I have not posted in quite awhile, mostly because I have been too busy watching EURO 2008 games when I get home.

This has been some tournament, and Turkey has definitely made things interesting.

And now for a musical interlude by the fans of a team NOT in attendance!

Of sunshine and taxes

Yes, I have not posted in a week. First off, last weekend, the weather here in Chicago was nice for the first time since forever. So Alex decided we had to play soccer in the park.

Then came taxes, and yes, I am still procrastinating and have not yet filed.

But I promise I will.
