I hate Saint Valentine's Day. I did when I was single. I still hate it now that I am married. I hated it when I was dating someone. I hated it more when I wasn't. I once even broke up with someone in January to avoid the whole Valentine's Day thing.
Hopefully, my wife likes what I got her.

I love Valentine's Day!
For years now, we've gone out to a local wedding mill with anywhere from three to nine other couples and for $125 a couple partied our asses off! And that's the plan tonight!

I married the perfect woman--she hates Valentine's Day, and forbids me to waste money on overpriced flowers and candy. She'd rather get flowers as a surprise on one of the other 364 days of the year.

A few weeks ago, I got into a discussion with my sister in law about eminent domain abuse. I must have gone on for 10 minutes about Kelo and the rest.
When I was finished, she turned to my wife and asked "Does he talk like this all the time?"
My wife got a sad look on her face and nodded yes.
As I said, she is a saint.
