My E-Mail to the President on Pakistan

I e-mailed the president earlier today on Pakistan. It will not do any good, but it will make me feel better.

Subject: Pakistan
To: comments@whitehouse.gov
CC: vice_president@whitehouse.gov

Dear Mister President:

I am writing to express hope that you will speak out forcefully and quickly against the declaration of emergency in Pakistan. According to press reports, you have called President Musharraf and pushed for elections. You must go further. On places like Lebanon, Ukraine and most recently Burma, you have spoken out eloquently in defense of liberalization and democracy. Pakistan's struggle is no different. While realpolitik might call for continued support of the Pakistani regime in the fight against terrorism and to help Afghanistan, that is short sighted thinking.

No matter what course is taken, Pakistan is going to explode. Speak out against the emergency and in support of those demonstrating for the return of the constitutional order. They are not only fighting for democracy against a military government, they are also under threat of Islamic terrorists who wish to turn Pakistan into a rerun of Taliban run Afghanistan. They need and deserve our support. Their fight is our fight, both short term and long term.

I know you face difficult choices each day I can only imagine. Please know that my prayers are with you.

Will you ask Mr.Musharaf to stand in soccer match as an impartial umpire?
----------------------------------

Just imagine playing a soccer without an impartial umpire. Right now Pakistan needs a caretaker setup which is impartial. I am afraid the present care taker government is a an extension of previous huge cabinet. Looks like each minister in previous governemnt nominated his candidate to replace him. They all want to come back using negative means. They have already guilty of pre poll rigging. How could a political worker can feel confidant to run a political activities in emergency (Martial Law). Media can not report both sides view. Looks like Mr.Musharaf have realized he can not win using normal rules of games.
I am not a political worker of any party in Pakistan. One thing for sure they don't care about civil liberty.

Mr.President--Ex COAS

My family members were killed my MQM(ALTAF) in 1993. I had to move to Dubai and than to US to save my life. I have lots of pictures and other documents which will tell you how cruel Me.Altaf is.

Let there be peace. One is not suppose to inflicy pain to others. If you had to it that do it quickly.

Mr.Musharaf is not right in his head. He does not care about civil liberty. All he cares about is his ego.

Peace.........Mercy

Americans and others who provide money to poor nations are doing no good. Most of time that money is not used properly becasue you give it to few corrupt ones. You must make sure it is given to many and not just few. Musharaf was given billions of dollors which he misued.

On 12th May in Karachi many were killed because they were protesting for Justice and peace.

Musharaf has gone mad.
